WELCOME TO THE 43RD INTERNATIONAL
YOUTH'S 10 MILE 2024

FOTSKÄL
AUGUST 2-4
ORGANIZING ASSOCIATIONS: OK MARK, OK ORINTO, OK RÄVEN, SKENE SoIS

U10mila started in 1981 as the young people's own version of the 10-mile relay. For many years, IF Hagen was mainly responsible for the event. Around 2010, a change took place when several organizing areas were added and the competition has since wandered around 4 different organizing areas, within Västergötland.

U10Mila is a full weekend of orienteering competitions for everyone. We combine the relay with at least 2 national competitions in addition to the relays. Middle distance on Saturday and long distance on Sunday. Sometimes an extra competition may appear. U10mila is the event of opportunity.

When booking U10mila 2024, you get a discount code that can be used 2-9/8 and gives 20% discount on climbing tickets regardless of age. Buaskogen is a high-altitude course in natural forest located in Olsfors, about 3 miles north of the Arena in Fotskäl. Stay the weekend and explore Buaskogen on the way home or let a visit to Buaskogen be the start of discovering Sjuhärad and Västkusten during the week after U10mila. Buaskogen is a family business that gives you a genuine experience and challenges that suit all ages and climbing needs! The tracks have a safety system (Saferoller by Kanopeo) that allows 4-year-olds to climb in the company of an adult. Everyone, regardless of age, climbs and chooses courses with obstacles and at heights that feel comfortable, doable, fun and challenging. You bring your own coffee and enjoy between courses in a robust wind shelter. The grill coals glow ready all day - just put yours on the grill. And when Grandpa in the owner family isn't busy instructing in the treetops, he turns on the coffee pot.
